Hampton Inn Fort Myers Downtown

We had a top notch experience with this hotel. I had initially made reservations for my workers at another Hampton Inn in Fort Myers and the check in process was nightmare. I ended up cancelling that reservation and called this hotel and spoke with Mama Mia. She was so accommodating and helpful. Words can’t express how thankful I am. Being a Diamond member with Hilton for many years she went above and beyond to make things easy for my guys to check in easy. The hotel is very clean, rooms are nice and just because of Mama Mia I will be staying here for all future projects in the area. Thanks for all your help!

Not bad. Rooms are nice although being on a highway, you will get that auto noise. Diamond status really gets you nothing here. Even though the box at the front desk offers you your free snack, when asked at the front desk to three different people, I was not offered or told anything about it when I asked about diamond status. Probably one of the worst Hampton Inn service that I've had in all my travels (and with Diamond status, I have been to a fair amount of Hampton Inn). Breakfast is standard fare and there is an outdoor pool with a parking lot view. It's not in a bad location since it's within walking to the downtown first Street area but you do have to pass across and under the highway to get there.

The hotel was great — clean, nice breakfast, good location. Mama Mia and the entire staff were all amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! Would definitely recommend.

When we checked in, it was extremely busy and Brianna, the front desk agent, handled it all with grace and kindness. She was a delight all weekend and we also appreciated David’s hospitality as well. Rooms were clean and the location was perfect for our weekend. We really enjoyed getting up every morning and walking to Shift Coffee Shop.

Nearly everything about this hotel was excellent. The property is very clean and well maintained throughout. Parking is plentiful and easy to access, which made arrival and departures stress-free. Its central location is a major advantage—most attractions and amenities are within comfortable walking distance, with numerous sidewalks and pedestrian paths that make exploring the area pleasant and safe. The nearby bridge and surrounding infrastructure are attractive and add to the neighborhood’s charm. The lobby is spacious and inviting, offering a comfortable place to relax or work. Overall, a convenient, tidy, and well-located choice for both leisure and business travelers. During our stay the breakfast service fell short of the hotel’s usual standards. Several basic items were unavailable, including the waffles that are typically offered by this brand and Philadelphia-style cream cheese. The lack of these staples made the buffet feel incomplete and diminished the start of our day. When I asked a staff member about the missing items, the response was brief and unhelpful — simply that they were gone. Plates were not available at first and were only brought out after a five-minute delay, which added to the impression of poor preparedness and made the meal service less pleasant than expected. This situation suggests a need for improved staff training in inventory management and guest communication. With better restocking procedures and more informative, proactive responses from breakfast staff, the hotel could easily restore the breakfast experience to the level guests expect from this brand.

My stay here was great! It’s in a great location if you’re visiting the downtown area, close to restaurants and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly especially the front desk associate who checked me in, Kerissa. She recommended some good places to eat and helped me with any questions I had.

Hampton inn is my go to Chain for hotel stays! They have everything I need for a night away, a gym, hot breakfast, a pool and clean rooms!! This is probably my 20th Hampton inn that I have stayed at all across the Atlantic coast from PA to Florida. Everyone has been exceptional!

It’s right downtown, there’s no homeless on that side of the bridge, the house keeping crew never bothered me before checkout, they let me extend my check out till 12:30pm-1pm , the breakfast was excellent, everyone said hello and good morning, and the desk clerk MIA went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was comfortable and secure. I’ve stayed on several occasions and MIA was there on shift and made sure that I enjoyed my stay and location in the building. The building is next to a main road but didn’t notice too much noise or hear people next door or above due to good construction… if you stay in ft myers HAMPTON INN is by far the better place to stay, any were else is at your own risk..
